together we can
shine a light on bullying!
Behind the hidden doors is an easy-to-follow bridge and guide for parents, guardians, caregivers, counselors, teachers, administrators, and communities in search of hope for children experiencing bullying.
Let’s get real for a second,
TO THE PARENTS, EDUCATORS, GUARDIANS AND CAREGIVERS WILLING TO HEAR…
There is a huge gap… no, more like a deep chasm, between information we hear about how to handle bullying and actually experiencing it and walking it out with the youth of this generation.
I
According to the National Bullying Prevention Center, ONE out of every FIVE (20.2%) students report being bullied.
II
49.8% of tweenS (9 to 12 years old) said they experienced bullying at school and 14.5% of tweens shared they experienced bullying online.
III
Students who experience bullying are at increased risk for depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, lower academic achievement, and dropping out of school.
TOGETHER WE CAN SHINE A LIGHT AND BRIDGE THE GAP FOR THE MENTAL HEALTH & EMOTIONAL DEVELOPEMENT OF OUR YOUTH!
Behind the Hidden Doors is not just a book, but the start of a movement to bring light to this epidemic behavior that affects so many of our youth today. “I wish I knew of or had a resource like Behind the Hidden Doors.
It is a much-needed source for parents, children, families, and communities, encouraging and empowering them. We know that bullying can make someone feel that they do not belong. If we do not feel we belong, we are at an increased risk for numerous vulnerabilities.”

"Having survived bullying and experienced it with my children,
I would have loved this shortcut guide to help make the journey easier. When we place our children at the feet of Jesus and look to Him for wisdom, both parents and children can come out of this experience stronger for God’s glory!”
